What We Do:

Women Making Moves provides a multitude of services and resources within a forum where members can collaborate, gain valuable information and build strategic relationships. Our objectives are to: maximize personal and professional potential, create cultural awareness and sensitivity, and enhance communications skills. Women Making Moves creates an environment that enhances collective advancement on a personal and professional level. We provide industry experts within an interactive forum to “edu-tain” participants such that each person receives information which is valuable and entertaining. Our programs focus on acquiring the tools and using the techniques that will propel women to attain higher levels of success!

Join us for an exclusive fundraising event: OHIO WOMEN, THEN AND NOW — A series of programs celebrating women’s history month with a different presentation each week. Sponsored by Women Making Moves and Eden Valley, each week will spotlight an historic heroine! The presentations will take place at 7p.m. and will include the show and light refreshments. Each week will be a different topic at a different location at Cuyahoga Community and Lorain County Community College.

MEET VICTORIA WOODHULL features Anne McEvoy as the Ohio woman who practically made running for President of the United States a career!

All proceeds are going to benefit the activities of Women Making Moves (The leading professional networking resource for today’s businesswoman which provides opportunities for building strategic relationships, sharing knowledge, and increasing cultural awareness to stimulate professional and personal growth) and Eden Valley Enterprises (Northeast Ohio’s leading presenter of historical programming for groups of all sizes). Women Making Moves has joined Eden Valley as a partner in creating a PBS Documentary about Ohioan Emma Gatewood — the first woman to solo thru-hike the Appalachian Trail in 1955 at the age of 67!
